    Salvia, commonly referred as wood sage is a hybrid perennial Salvia. They are upright, clump forming perennials with green leaves and spikes of tiny tubular flowers. The leaves of this mint family member are aromatic. Easy to grow. Salvia 'Mainacht', commonly sold under the trade name of May Night, features deep violet blue flowers. Was named 1997 Perennial Plant Association Plant of the Year.
